Business SIM only
Business SIM cards and SIM-only plans on Vodafone, O2 and EE, for one person or your whole company. Pooled data, one bill, spend caps and a UK team that answers the phone.
What it is
A business SIM-only plan gives your team calls, texts and data without tying a handset to the contract. If your phones still have plenty of life left, it is usually the cheapest way to run business mobiles.
Because it is in your company’s name, every SIM sits on one account with one bill, a shared pool of data and spend caps on every line. VAT-registered businesses can usually reclaim the VAT, subject to HMRC’s business-use rules.

Handsets a year or two old do not need replacing just because a contract ends.
Buy handsets once, run them for years, and pay only for the service.
Any unlocked phone works, so different models sit happily on one account.
With no handset tied to each line, adding, moving and changing users is simpler.
SIM only vs contract
Neither is always better. It comes down to the phones you already have and how you prefer to pay for them. Send us a bill and we will work it out for you.
Under Ofcom rules, phones sold in the UK since December 2021 must be sold unlocked, so newer handsets work on any network. Older phones bought from a network may still be locked. We check before anything is switched.
The networks
SIM only makes it easy to put each person on the network that suits where they work. We are not tied to one, so the recommendation follows your coverage, not our commission.
Broad nationwide coverage and steady data speeds. A dependable choice for most business users.
Excellent coverage across built-up areas and great value data for everyday business use.
Fast 4G and 5G and wide coverage, ideal for heavy data users and rural teams.
People who travel widely? A multi-network SIM uses whichever network is strongest wherever they are.

Business SIM cards
SIM only is not just for phones. One account can hold every kind of business SIM card, on the same networks and the same bill.
Minutes, texts and data for staff handsets, matched to how each person works.
For tablets, laptops and 4G or 5G routers. They also make a reliable broadband backup.
One SIM or a whole fleet
A sole trader can start with a single business SIM. A larger business can move its whole fleet across in planned batches. Either way, you get the same account features and the same UK support.
Every SIM on a single, clear monthly account.
We move your existing numbers across on the agreed day, with no downtime.
One allowance shared across the team, so heavy users borrow from light ones.
Limits and warnings before anyone runs up an unexpected charge.
Start with one line and add more as you hire.
Numbers moved in batches, so nobody is left without a phone.
Lost, stolen or broken? Replacement SIMs turned round quickly.
The team that set it up answers when you call, at no extra charge.
Common questions
Usually, yes, as long as you already own suitable phones. A handset contract includes the cost of the phone in the monthly price, so if you do not need a new handset you are paying for something you do not use.
Yes. We move your current numbers onto the new business SIM cards and schedule the switch so there is no downtime.
Yes. Phones sold in the UK since December 2021 must be sold unlocked under Ofcom rules. Older handsets bought from a network may be locked, and we will check before switching.
Yes. There is no minimum, and a single line gets the same support as a large account.
Yes. Many businesses put most users on SIM only and give new handsets only to the people who need them, all on one bill.
Vodafone, O2 or EE, chosen per user based on where they spend their day. For people who travel widely, a multi-network SIM uses whichever network is strongest.
Yes. SIM only saves money when you already own handsets that are good for another couple of years. If yours are near the end of their life, spreading the cost of new ones may well work out better, and we would rather say so than sell you the cheaper line and watch you replace the phones anyway.
Tell us first, because most things are quicker to sort directly and we would rather fix a problem than escalate it. If we genuinely cannot settle it between us, Synergy Max is a member of CISAS, the Communication and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme, which is run by CEDR and approved by Ofcom. Following Ofcom’s rule change in April 2026 you can take a complaint there once it has been open for six weeks, or sooner if we write to confirm we have reached deadlock. It is free for you to use and the outcome is binding on us if you accept it. Our complaints code sets out the whole process.
