Full fibre business broadband

Full fibre business broadband. Fibre all the way to your door.

FTTP brings fibre directly into your building, with no copper in the final stretch. Faster, more reliable and ready for the future, with the survey, installation and support handled by our own team.

What it is

Fibre to the premises, in plain English.

FTTP stands for fibre to the premises. Instead of fibre stopping at the green cabinet in the street, with copper covering the last stretch, the fibre runs all the way into your building.

That last stretch of copper is what holds older broadband back. Take it away and speeds rise sharply, performance stays steady whatever the distance from the cabinet, and there is far less to go wrong with an ageing line.

Much faster

Up to 1Gbps, far beyond the 80Mbps ceiling of fibre to the cabinet.

More reliable

No ageing copper in the final stretch, so fewer faults and steadier speeds.

Faster uploads

Symmetric options for cloud backups, video calls and CCTV.

Ready for 2027

No reliance on the analogue network being switched off.

Getting connected

From availability check to switched on.

Full fibre availability varies street by street, so everything starts with your address.

1. Availability check

We check what is live at your address, across the networks, before recommending anything.

2. Order and booking

We place the order, book the installation and keep it moving, so you are never chasing.

3. Installation

An engineer brings the fibre in and fits a small box on the wall. Where fibre already reaches your street, it is often a single visit.

4. Switch over

We time the switch to suit you and move your calls onto VoIP, keeping your numbers.

Not available at your address yet?

SoGEA is the usual stepping stone, and 4G or 5G mobile broadband can bridge the gap. We will tell you when full fibre arrives.

A business router on a desk

Inside the building

A fast line needs a network that can keep up.

Gigabit broadband is wasted on a tired router and patchy Wi-Fi. We supply a business router, set it up properly and, where it is needed, design Wi-Fi that reaches every room.

If your building has thick walls, several floors or a lot of people online at once, a properly surveyed business Wi-Fi network is what turns a fast line into a fast office.

Is it right for you?

When full fibre fits, and when it does not.

A good fit

Full fibre suits you if

  • It is available at your address
  • Your team relies on cloud apps and video calls
  • You are moving calls to VoIP
  • You want the best value for speed
Look elsewhere

Consider something else if

  • You need guaranteed speeds and an SLA
  • Downtime would be genuinely costly
  • Full fibre is not live at your address yet
  • You need a connection this week

Common questions

Full fibre, answered.

Fibre to the premises. Fibre runs all the way into your building, rather than stopping at the street cabinet with copper covering the last stretch.

Our full fibre packages run up to 1Gbps, with symmetric options where uploads matter. What is available depends on your address, and we check before you order.

Availability varies street by street and is changing all the time. Send us your postcode and we will check what is live at your premises across the networks.

No. Full fibre does not use an analogue phone line. Your calls move to a hosted phone system or Microsoft Teams calling, and your numbers can usually come with you.

An engineer brings the fibre into the building and fits a small box on the wall, usually with one small hole for the cable. Where fibre already reaches your street it is often a single visit. We agree the position with you first.

Full fibre is shared with other users on the local network, so it is excellent value but not guaranteed. A leased line is dedicated to you, with guaranteed symmetrical speeds and an SLA with fix times.

Yes, in most cases. We move your existing numbers onto a hosted phone system or Teams calling as part of the switch.
