Modern Slavery Statement

Last updated: 8 August 2026

The annual turnover of Synergy Max Ltd is currently below the £36 million threshold at which a statement is legally required under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish this statement voluntarily, because we hold ourselves and our suppliers to a high ethical standard and believe that transparency is the right thing to do.

1. Our commitment

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes many forms, including slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which deprive a person of their liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. Synergy Max Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain, and we are committed to acting ethically, lawfully and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

2. Our business and supply chains

We are a business telecoms, connectivity and energy provider serving organisations across the United Kingdom. We supply broadband, leased lines, hosted telephony, mobile and data connectivity, networks and Wi-Fi, and related support services. Our supply chain consists primarily of:

  • UK network operators, carriers and airtime providers;
  • equipment manufacturers, distributors and hardware suppliers;
  • installation, cabling and field-support subcontractors;
  • software, hosting, billing and platform providers; and
  • standard business services such as office, professional and financial services.

The majority of our direct suppliers are established UK and European businesses operating in sectors that we consider to be lower risk. We recognise, however, that risk can exist further down any supply chain, particularly in the manufacture of hardware, and we remain alert to it.

3. Our policies

This statement should be read alongside our related policies, which together set out the standards we expect of our people and our suppliers. These include our anti-bribery policy, our equality, diversity and inclusion policy, and our internal procedures for raising concerns. Our recruitment practices are designed to safeguard against forced or exploitative labour, including verifying the identity and right to work of everyone we employ.

4. Risk assessment

We assess the risk of modern slavery by considering the nature of each supplier relationship, the sector and country in which a supplier operates, and the type of goods or services provided. Where a relationship is judged to carry a higher risk, we take proportionate additional steps before and during the engagement.

5. Due diligence

When we engage subcontractors or suppliers, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that they operate to appropriate ethical and legal standards, including in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, to treat their workers fairly and lawfully, and to hold their own suppliers to the same standards. We reserve the right to end a relationship with any supplier found to be in breach of these expectations.

6. Training and awareness

Everyone involved in engaging suppliers or subcontractors on our behalf is made aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, how to recognise potential warning signs, and how to raise a concern. We keep this awareness current as our business and supply chain evolve.

7. Measuring effectiveness

We do not currently publish formal performance indicators, but we review the steps we take, act on any concerns raised, and use what we learn to strengthen our approach over time. The absence of any reported incidents of modern slavery within our business or supply chain is an important measure of the effectiveness of our approach.

8. Raising a concern

We encourage anyone, whether a member of our team, a supplier or a member of the public, to raise any concern about modern slavery connected to our business. Concerns can be raised in confidence by emailing support@synergymax.co.uk or by calling us on 0151 230 3949. We will take every report seriously and no one will suffer detrimental treatment for raising a genuine concern in good faith.

9. Approval and review

This statement is approved by the directors of Synergy Max Ltd and is reviewed at least annually to ensure it remains accurate and reflects our business, our supply chain and our commitments. It was last reviewed on the date shown above.
